Magikarp Tissue Dispenser
thingiverse
This has got to be one of the most bizarre projects I've ever tackled. It's a tissue dispenser that looks uncannily like a Magikarp - and yes, it sounds absurd, but there's actually some clever synergy at play here. Magikarps are notorious for flopping around on their sides, so why not take advantage of this quirk by sticking a tissue out like a fin? Don't expect this thing to be plug-and-play, though. You'll need to do some post-printing assembly to get it up and running. I used glue to hold the two halves together, but then installed some cabinet door clasps that make it easy to snap them apart and back together again. After that, I gave it a few coats of cheap craft paint - too many, if I'm being honest. As for the tissue box itself, I have no idea what standard sizes look like around the world, but it seems to fit the shorter ones you can find in the US just fine.
