Magicshine mount for Giro Montaro
pinshape
These files are three distinct versions of a mount to attach a Magicshine LED light to a Giro Montaro helmet by utilizing its built-in GoPro mount. This configuration may also work with other helmets and LED lights, although results may vary. Revision 3 is likely the version you'll want to use, as it positions the light closer to the helmet and provides the most adjustability. I have posted several other Magicshine to GoPro mount helmet adapters on this platform: * Giro Edit: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:684331 * Generic Mount: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:197074 Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: MendelMax 1.5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 70% Notes: I used a layer height of 0.2mm and an infill percentage of 70% with ABS plastic. These parts are designed to print without support, so you'll need to rotate them to lay flat on your print bed. Typically, this involves rotating the part by either + or - 90 degrees on the X axis. Design Process: This design was created using Solidworks 2016. I've included both .STL files and the native Solidworks files for your remixing pleasure.
