Print one each of the Main Body part and End-Stop part, specifically designed to be printed in PLA using a 0.3mm layer height and 30% linear infill. No support material is needed for printing. The End-Stop stl file includes two bridge support features that are easily removable by hand before assembly. Fitting and Assembly 1. Attach the Main Body to a water bottle mount on your bike using standard water bottle mount hardware, typically consisting of: - 2 cap head screws: 5mm diameter x 0.8 thread pitch x 12mm long - 2 washers: 11mm outside diameter 2. Snap-fit the End-Stop into place along the inside of the Main Body part. The fit is designed to be snug, so try easing it into position rather than forcing it. Usage The battery is fitted in a specific orientation to enable easier reading of the digital voltmeter display while cycling. This orientation also positions the cable closer to the frame, which may help prevent the cable from snagging on low-hanging branches or a misplaced foot. Before fitting the battery as shown, remove the sponge tape fitted to the case at manufacture by Magicshine. If removed carefully, it can be reapplied to the opposite surface for safe-keeping in case it is needed again. Although the battery fits into the holder with a reassuringly snug 'click', I strongly recommend using the 50mm wide Magicshine supplied Velcro strap around the battery and holder for added peace of mind and safety. This is especially important, as the battery did stay firmly in place without any strap during its first test ride around town; however, it's still not recommended. With the battery and 50mm Velcro strap fitted, the assembly is strong enough to lift a bicycle weighing 11kg by the battery and holder. Since its initial publication, the battery has undergone successful field testing at night over gentle-moderate single track on the Malvern Hills in the UK. The Magicshine MJ-828 battery was originally supplied with their 900 lumen HA-III SSC P7-C front light, which may also have been accompanied by the MJ-808E front light and other models.
