Magical Shield (The Legend of Zelda, NES 1986)
thingiverse
We have brought back to life the Magical Shield from the original Legend of Zelda game, which first appeared on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986. Its design is centered around two main goals: creating a beautiful decoration for fans and crafting an easy-to-make item that doesn't require a huge amount of printing time or money. All elements of this shield are designed to be printed quickly, spray-painted, and then glued onto a flat surface made of wood, MDF, or plywood. Since it's not too heavy, you can attach it to a flat surface using double-sided adhesive tape. Alternatively, you can frame it and hang it on the wall like a picture in your video game room. This design was inspired by Blue Amnesiac's amazing illustration available at blueamnesiac.deviantart.com. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Hephestos Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Notes: All pieces are scaled to create a shield that's approximately 15cm x 20cm in size. If you have a larger print bed than mine, you can increase the scale of each piece and build a bigger shield. If you need smaller parts, just let me know – I think this shield should be printable on most 3D printers without any issues. Files 01, 02, and 03 must be printed only once. File 04 must be printed 13 times. File 00 is the complete edge in one piece (you might not need it). My Cura settings: Layer Height: 0.3 Shell Thickness: 0.8 Bottom/Top thickness: 0.6 Fill Density: 0
