Magic Wand
thingiverse
This classic magic wand is made up of simple components that can be printed upright, so make sure you have strong bed adhesion in place. Supports are also necessary on the connector piece to prevent warping. As shown in the pictures, I used two WandTips, two WandShafts, and three WandConnectors to create this design. Experimenting with attaching more shafts together for a longer, walking stick-like look has yielded promising results, as it holds up well even after printing. I've printed several of these magic wands for my kids to play with, and they have been thoroughly enjoying them. For optimal durability, I recommend increasing the infill setting on the WandConnector pieces to at least 15%, although children may still be able to break them if handled roughly.
