Magic tracks to knex
thingiverse
I've noticed a significant shortage of accessories for magic tracks, which can be easily addressed by utilizing Knex pieces to add depth and detail to the track. The pieces are precision-designed to fit together seamlessly, although you may need to experiment with different settings to achieve the perfect fit. If you'd like me to integrate this feature with other standard connectors commonly found in children's toys, please send a message, and I'll create a custom remix for you. As a next step, I plan to design more intricate accessories over the coming days. This initial release is essentially phase one of my project. It's worth noting that Knex has unique geometric properties that can make it challenging to replicate precise structures. However, I'm actively working on resolving this issue. For now, you can still connect the pieces, but keep in mind that creating complex designs may not yield the desired results due to structural limitations. Nevertheless, for simple hills or basic configurations, Knex proves to be an excellent choice. **Print Settings:** * **Printer Brand:** MakerGear * **Printer Model:** MakerGear M2 * **Rafts:** Yes * **Supports:** Yes * **Infill:** 20% wiggle fill **Important Notes:** Remember to thoroughly clean out any support structures from the top slot before assembling the final piece. I used Cosmic Blue PLA filament from Blackmagic3d.com to print the model showcased in my video demonstration.
