Magic Tokens and Token Vault

Magic Tokens and Token Vault

I created showy but compact tokens to use in my cube and EDH decks, so I designed and printed these.\r\n\r\nThe standard token vault box can hold 12 tokens, while the XL version holds 40.\r\n\r\nTo make it easier to open and close, I found that I needed to slightly sand the "locking" mechanism area. However, I've been able to jostle them around vigorously without having them pop open.\r\n\r\nI printed these with a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.2 mm layer height. To get the two-color design, I set a pause at layer 16 in Cura to swap filaments.\r\n\r\nThe regular box took about 4 hours to print, while the XL box took 10 hours at 50 mm/s. The print should be oriented with the bottom and top of the box facing down flat.\r\n\r\nIf you have a specific token request, I can probably create something for you.\r\n\r\nThis is my first really functional design, and I'm still experimenting with it. If you end up printing these and have any feedback, please let me know.\r\n\r\nUpdate: February 20th, 2019 - I added a new version of the token vault "V12" that features a different kind of latching mechanism. My previous design was getting looser over time, so I tried a new one that will last longer and hold up better. It requires a little extra time and plastic, but not significantly.\r\n\r\nUpdate: April 17th, 2019 - For the upcoming set, I added a zombie army 0/0 token!\r\n\r\nUpdate: August 31st, 2019 - I added a template token and a 2/2 morph token.\r\n\r\nUpdate: March 11th, 2020 - I added 3/3 wurm tokens (one for lifelink, one for deathtouch), an egg token, and a 4/4 zombie warrior token.
