Magic: the Gathering Monarch Crown
thingiverse
This crown is a reminder object for the monarch in Magic: the Gathering. When someone introduces the monarch into the game, put it on top of their library. It'll help remind them to draw a card at their end step and remind everyone else to poke them when possible. Printed with supports, but I don't think those will be necessary. The overhang is minimal, while the supports are so small some will fail. The only flaw is how to store it. I think it'll do fine in a box or bag of dice, provided you don't throw it around too much. Extents measure a little more than two inches in diameter (2.12" x 2.04" x 1.73" or 54mm x 52mm x 44mm). See picture for reference. The tines of the planeswalker symbols are surprisingly sturdy. I think it's the thickness. While I wouldn't lift it by the tines, I think it will take an intentional effort to break anything. The symbol between the planeswalker symbols is the planechase chaos swirl. If you haven't played planechase, you're playing magic incorrectly ;) ***IGNORE THE REST** Hey I don't know if you'll be able to see this (whoever you are), but for some reason Thingiverse loaded your text into the summary box when I uploaded a new thing. I didn't want to delete it in case the two Things are still linked. Designed up this dealer button to use in home games or have just as something laying around for any poker fan. It was inspired by a dealer button in Pokerstars VR. Printing: Ring - Infil to add weight, supports needed for spade inset. Letter embossing doesn't need it. Spade - Infil to add weight, no supports Letters - Print flat, already scaled to fit nicely in the embossing Star - Infil to add weight. Full print with 4x4x4 walls/top/bottom and 38% infil came to about 48g in weight. Glue in lettering and spade. Star may need minor sanding but should push fit into the space tightly and not need anything else to secure it.
