I love making custom 3D prints. The best part is, I can make all sorts of creative components with ease. For instance, I design beautiful lids and boxes that come out looking amazing in low-resolution settings - which means I can still get them done fast without sacrificing quality one bit! On the other hand, the axel itself needs to be printed at high resolution so it turns out super sturdy. Supports on both the lid and box are absolutely necessary because of how they need to stay perfectly intact. It's crucial that I plate the axel on a raft support before moving forward - which makes all the difference when it comes down to functionality.
