Original was not sideways storage friendly as the player pawns would fall out and the sand timer holder didn't print well for me, even will supports. There is a 1.2mm base to glue to the meeple storage and I removed the sand timer holder / X storage box and used the hole for X tokens. Sand timer fits in the meeple lid which acts as a lid to the X tokens.
