Magic Heart (necklace from The Illusionist)

This time I created my own version of the magical heart collar you can see in the movie The Illusionist, completely designed to be 3D printed. It's a romantic gift that lets you wear the picture of someone special and take them with you everywhere, hidden from view. I printed it with Wood PLA (0.1 high layer and 100% infill is perfect) and it looks beautiful, but I recommend printing it with a more resistant plastic like ABS or PTG, or even regular PLA. It's divided into pieces so you can easily assemble it by sticking them together - I used super glue - just be careful not to stick the right side to the left one, because if you do, it won't work properly. How to build it: First, print each STL file once. Each of the two sides (left and right) is composed of three pieces: the top, bottom, and middle one. You need to stick the bottom piece (the widest one) to the middle one, placing a small spring between them in the hole made for it before you attach anything - check out the pictures to see how it goes. Then repeat the process with the other side. Make sure not to stick the axis or the spring to the pieces that contain them - they need to be free so they can rotate without any problems. The springs (you'll need two, one for each side) should be about 4mm long and 3mm in diameter. I used a pen spring and cut it to get the length I needed. After you've done this, you should have a heart that can rotate and change shape - to do this, first pull both sides apart in opposite directions. To place the entire movable top (toppieceL and toppieceR STL), rotate one of the sides 90 degrees so they're not forming either the heart or the regular shape, but rather a kind of cross. In this position, there's enough space to put both sides together, finishing off the magical heart. And don't stick any of the left pieces to the right ones - the only thing that keeps them together is the axis. I hope you like it and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
