Magic Flask
thingiverse
To perform this trick, tilt the flask slightly to one side, filling the larger tube with water. Pour from this side, making it seem like all the water has been drained. Right the flask and pour again for more water release; this process can be repeated multiple times before the reservoir is empty. This simple yet effective trick can be found at magic shops but requires no special hand placement, only correct pouring to avoid the smaller u-tube meant for air pressure equalization. Watch this in action here: http://youtu.be/unbIjZYowtg Regarding the 3D print, you might notice a slight misalignment at the top of the bottom reservoir initially, but it self-corrects as printing continues. I printed this model with a 10% fill and it worked perfectly. While there may be room for design improvement, the functionality remains intact.
