Magic Arm Stand

thingiverse

A versatile stand designed for use with magic arms, suitable for holding either a tiny desk light or a phone clamp. Version 1 features rigid legs that cannot be folded. To assemble this version, six brass M3 x 4mm threaded inserts must be heat pressed into the core. In addition to these inserts, another six pieces of M3 x 8mm screws are required to attach the legs to the core. Version 2 is designed with foldability in mind. For assembly, two brass M4 x 4mm threaded inserts need to be heat pressed into the core. Furthermore, two additional pieces of M4 x 10mm countersunk screws serve as pivot points for the legs, allowing them to fold. Both designs can accommodate a Smallrig 1/4" to 3/8" screw adapter after the centre hole in the core has been bored out to approximately 8.7mm. This will enable one to securely screw in the adapter.
