Magic Angle Sculpture: Mond - Wald - Stern
thingiverse
This is another Magic Angle Sculpture created by Dr. Rahel Brugger at the ICSE in Freiburg. It is a little bit less complex so that it could be designed using tinkerCAD. To see it in action watch https://youtu.be/ZoURIk5CvrU It can easily be printed using PLA or other common filaments. We recommend the use of support material. The figure seen on the picture and in the video was printed at 100% size, so that a threaded rod could be used as axis. The best results should be obtained with an angle of 35° between axis and projection plane. Many thanks to Felix Hauer from the ZIK/PH Freiburg for supporting us in filming and for cutting the videos!
