Magentic Geared Fidget Spinner

Magentic Geared Fidget Spinner

Geared fidget spinner design inspired by various other designs, I'm not certain where it originated from. The bearings are connected so spinning the case around the central bearing spins the outer bearings and vice versa. This model uses magnetic gears instead of traditional gears. Parts: Uses 48 - 4x2 magnets on the gears, more if you also use them to hold the parts together (or you can use glue dots). The magnets on the gears alternate between north and south facing out. Requires 5 - skate bearings (there are two in the center). It'll probably work better with ceramic ball / magnetic steel bearings, but I used normal metal bearings (which are affected by the magnets and only spins for a few seconds). Filament: Atomic Filament Starry Night PLA and Filamentum Vertigo Gray and Rapunzel Silver PLA. Affiliate links.
