Mage Knight Dungeon Diagonal Walls
thingiverse
Human: I've used Mage Knight Dungeons tiles and walls for many years, but the limited wall options has often made the table seem a bit less than ideal. I redrew a lot of dungeons over the years to make use of them. I've decided to create walls and floor tiles that improve the options available to the set. Design: This release is designed for diagonal walls for use on a single tile. To make the corners work for all situations, three designs are needed. Printing: I prefer to print them upside down, so that the pins are up. I would print the top (at the pins) 10mm solid. If the pins break off, the solid will allow you to drill holes in the base and glue in nails to replace the pins. You'll want to buy from Home Depot their part 16F1 Grip Right Finish Nails 16D. They work great, and I've made versions using only them instead of printing pins. I like printing using the Cura setting "Fuzzy". Post Print: The pins will need filing, especially if "Fuzzy" is used. Go slow. Round the bottom edge of the pins ever so slightly. Attached is a spreadsheet that will help describe the naming convention for the design and those to be made. I have "Y" or 45 degree turn bases with inserts of several terrain types ready. Where the original tiles were meant to be 10' by 10', I've made 5' x 10' and 5' by 5' tiles to complement them. I also have jail and barred gate walls ready. I'd be happy to have others submit versions with additional wall textures applied.
