I like using smd components because I find working with them much more pleasant and simple. That's why I have a box of bags with resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors and so on. Unfortunately, such saving causes occasional damage to the strips in which the components are located, and they are then fluttering in the bags and in the case of semiconductors can be damaged. That's why I decided to make a simple tray for them. By default, it has the ideal size for tapes of 100pcs of case sizes such as 0806, 1206, MiniMelf, SOT23, and the like. For other sizes, of course, they can be easily modified in the configurator or directly via OpenScad. The design includes one “lid” and two versions of the box. One has through holes for screws and can be chained into larger units. The second is designed as a separate box for each value. The cap is common for both versions. Of course, there is a text label to make it immediately clear what is in the boxes.
