The given magazine file, designed for A4, is crafted from materials such as plywood or acrylic glass. To create this box, you will need to utilize four CAD-Files (dxf) containing the layouts of six box pieces, each fitting on an A3 sheet. Assemble the cut pieces manually without adhesive, and refer to the photo for proper placement. If your box will primarily sit on a shelf, glue is unnecessary; however, if frequent handling or uneven sheets are concerns, consider applying glue between the edges. Before final assembly, test the fit without glue to ensure proper alignment. For those interested in experimenting with different box sizes and material thicknesses, check out MyBox on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/hannesauswien.u/files/) for a generic design that can be customized manually. The design presented here was created using the lasercutter at Happylab (www.happylab.at), which also documents the process.
