A small 16th-century church built on the remains of a medieval basilica with an abutted apse and square-section pillars. Inside, a fragmented fresco features rough figures depicting St. Joseph, the Virgin Mary with child, Christ, and St. Paul the serpent-bearer. This construction sits atop the acropolis of ancient Veretum (Baris) in Patù Comune, Lecce, Italy.
