This beautifully ornamented marble sculpture portrays the revered Madonna and Child, once part of the esteemed Medici family's impressive collection. Unfortunately, the mastermind behind this masterpiece remains anonymous, however, many art historians believe it to have originated from the workshop of renowned sculptor Antonio Rossellino sometime during the 15th century.
