Let's start the next community project, the MTG (MAD tank grip). Now an affordable and for FDM optimized airsoft grip for regulators like the Wolverine Storm or Polarstar MRS (others will follow). Update: P7.2 is available, compatible with Polarstar MRS and Wolverine Storm. Upper screw of the cover can be used with nut instead of threaded directly into the grip. Check picture (inside .zip or .rar) for details. Still working on the AEG grip insert and other regs. Update: Prototype 7 is now available, compatible with Polarstar MRS and Strom regulators. Attention the MRS Tube may need some changes. A compatible AEG grip insert of P7 will follow. Update: Because of several cases, note: REMOVE the tournament lock ring before assembling! You don`t need it anymore! Update: 3 files for MTW added, tube and tournamentlock etc. is compatible. Update: Assembly informations below. Attention: The lower part (for 3D printed grip and for AEG) must be printed as shown on the second picture, otherwise layers will be seperated. Use high strength and high quality material and 3 or more perimeters!!!!! P6 is the first official version and not well tested yet. Be carefull! Aluminium tanks recommended, composite tanks could be damaged if the grip breaks. I added another version of the lower part for standard AEG grips (Reg_Mount_AEG.stl). Tubes and T-Locks are compatible. You need two M3x20mm hex spacers (compare with the picture) and 4x M3 screws. Length depends on your grip. It`s possible to disconnect the hose from the back, so you should be able to use it with systems like the Fusion Engine. Disassemble the regulator, tournament lock, gauge and Foster QD of. Then push the reg in the tube. Insert the Tube in the lower part. It shout fit tight with medium pressure needed. If not, use some tape between reg and tube. Not between tube and lower part! Then mount the QD hose adapter through the hole from the gauge, with an allen key (maybe telfon tape needed). After that, mount the gauge (maybe teflon tape needed). Push the lower part in to the grip und screw it tight with the M3x12. Mount the hole grip with the 4x M3x8 screws on your gun. Insert the cover in the grip and mount it with the M3x6 countersink (if possible, cut the threads first, it also works without) Assembly for the AEG Insert: Reg will assembled like mentioned above. Then insert the M3x20mm hex spacers. Mark the hole locations on your grip. Drill the holes. Push the lower part in and mount it with 4x M3 screws.
