Mad Max Fury Road Head Mask High Quality

I crafted this screen-accurate Mad Max Fury Road mask. My goal was to create an exact replica of the film so I could build a high-quality prop. The components are all separate, and the straps have been lengthened, requiring cutting and gluing, but it should fit a variety of head sizes. I also included screw caps to accurately represent the details of the movie costume. Check out my Mad Max Fury Road Leg Brace files as well. Assembly and painting were done in this order: First, sanding Next, auto primer Then, black gloss paint Followed by silver paint Black/brown acrylic washes for added depth and weathering Eggshell sealer to protect the finish Rust and blood details applied last Another coat of eggshell sealer sealed in all the details To make the mask comfortable, I lined the inside with foam. I also attached a plastic chain from the hardware store, painting and weathering it the same way as the mask. #CostumeChallenge2017
