Mad Dog Mech
thingiverse
Human: Crafted with precision using Autodesk Inventor, this model was brought to life by the MakerGear M2 printer, utilizing White ABS material with a 25% infill rate that can be optimized further to 20%. The lengthy print process took approximately 7 hours. Standing at just over 4 3/4 inches tall, the center torso is designed for flexibility, while poseable legs and ball joints securely attach feet to legs. To maintain structural integrity, periodic cleaning and test fitting of moving parts are essential. The design may not be a direct representation of the original concept, but open suggestions and improvements are always welcome. To enhance stability and durability, neodymium magnets (1/8 x 1/16 in size) were employed to secure arms instead of relying on glue. Airbrushed with vibrant red hues, the model's colors were further accentuated using sharpies. For optimal printing results, a detailed layout is available for reference in Simplify3d. Additional printing and assembly instructions will be added to provide a comprehensive guide.
