MACSBOOST Davinci E3D V6 Uberstruder mount.
thingiverse
This is my fourth iteration of an adapter designed to enable use of an E3D V6 on a DaVinci 1.0A printer. A considerable amount of effort was invested in making this work with minimal modifications. The stepper motor assembly is relocated upward by 31mm, aligning with the width of the stepper bolt pattern and utilizing the original holes. Following this relocation, the adapter allows seamless use of the stock direct drive hardware, spring clip, fan, and parts. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a snug fit within the carriage, minimizing slop and ensuring smooth operation. The nozzle height is remarkably close to the stock height, eliminating the need for further modification. A small piece of Teflon tubing, approximately 1.5 inches in length, is recommended for insertion into the mount and heatsink, as seen in the accompanying images. This addition proves to be a tight fit; however, with the motor now situated higher up, it becomes much easier to install the extruder. It is likely that you will need to cut approximately 1/2 inch off the top of the extruder filament inlet tube.
