Macrokeyboard - ScrubKeys_v2
thingiverse
I have a Logitech G915 and love the keyboard itself as well as how I use the macro keys on the left so much that I have the same keyboard for home and the office. I got sent on a work trip and needed a portable way to take those keys with me, and needed some way to protect it during travel. Using Fusion360 (using digital calipers with some old mechanical switches) I designed this 5-key macrokeyboard with a rotary encoder. The 5 keys send F20 - F24 keypresses, and the encoder controls the volume. This is done through custom QMK firmware. An Arduino pro micro clone is the micro controller (I wanted USB-C) and was purchased of Amazong along with the switches and keycaps. Really fun build that pushed my knowledge of soldering, coding, and design.
