Macro Light Ring Hot Shoe Mount
thingiverse
I built this custom adapter so you can mount a Neewer macro light ring to your Lumix micro 4/3 camera. The supplied screw-on ring just won't cut it for close-up shots, as the light sits too far in front of the lens. With this design, you can position the light right behind the front of the lens or anywhere else you need it. It attaches via a hot shoe adapter/extender using the bottom mount of your camera. I wanted a way to mount the Neewer macro light ring close to the lens, so I could get up close and personal with my subjects. The standard screw-on ring just wasn't doing it, so I set out to create something better. Using a hot shoe adapter/extender, you can attach this custom adapter to your camera's bottom mount, giving you complete control over where the light goes. Sketchup
