I have a side hobby that requires a light for my macro lens, so I decided to design one myself instead of buying it. I'm thrilled with the result, which works flawlessly at a distance of 5 to 25cm - perfect for macro shots and even portrait ring lighting. It fits neatly onto the sunshade of my macro lens and can be attached to my belt using two cable ties. The battery pack is secure and easily removable. For power, I used a reliable 12V 1.2AH battery, while the light source consists of 40x 5mm white LEDs without any lenses.
