Macro Flash Mount

This build enables the power unit to be securely fastened from the camera base. When taking a photo, I attach the flash unit with the light turned on. To assemble this project, you will need two bolts measuring 2-1/4" x 3/4" and one nut that is 1-1/4" in size. To secure the dust cap, I employed a nylon bolt with a round head, measuring 5 x 32mm, coupled with a steel nut that is 5mm in diameter. The flash adapter and smaller components were printed at a speed of 40% to ensure sufficient structural integrity. If you opt for a faster printing speed, the final dimensions will be even more compact. To keep the bolt or handle firmly in place, I utilized small washers, while the large washer serves as a spacer. Soft PLA materials are ideal for creating these washers due to their durability and performance.
