MacPro Tower 1,1 2.5in Drive Sleds
thingiverse
Being that I rehab older PCs and Macs, I needed a set of 2.5in SSD drive sleds for a MacPro Tower 1,1 I had been given. After looking at a few vendors that had something similar but cost a fair bit, I decided it would be cheaper to print my own. Since I had a photo and one drive sled to work from, I launched into a new design. This was the result: a full set of numbered drive sleds that exactly fit a 2.5in hard drive, conventional or solid-state. My Ender3s were able to hold 2 sleds on their beds but 2 at a time was a very tight fit. To assemble a drive to a sled, you'll need 4 - M3 x 6mm or M3 x 8mm countersink screws per sled. I chose M3 x 8mm socket head countersink screws.
