MacPi Pro XL v1.9 (Raspberry Pi 3 Case)

Check out all of my other designs under my profile on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/The_Craft_Dude/designs This Raspberry Pi case is designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 3 and is modeled after the iconic Trash Can Mac Pro. The intention behind this design is to create a compact, DIY desktop PC/Mac Pro alternative. Please note that this model accommodates two 40x40x10mm 5V PC fans, which are shown in red in the images. Both the internal fan mount and Raspberry Pi mount can be secured with either screws and nuts or glue, as is also true for the fans (though it's not recommended to use glue on the fans). Due to my inability to find a suitable method for mounting the Pi while maintaining access to its USB ports, I designed this case with a small opening at the bottom of the back. This allows users to connect an extension USB cable from within the case. Since not everyone may have the same USB hub, and most USB extension cords share similar shapes and are inexpensive and easy to create, this solution seemed like the best option. The idea behind this design was also to use it with a wireless keyboard and mouse for an authentic Mac-like experience. If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to let me know. Note: Some files associated with this design may be quite large, so users may need to split them into separate parts in order to print successfully unless they have high-end printing capabilities. v1.9 Updates: - The top fan mount has been redesigned. - The Raspberry Pi mount has undergone modifications. - The frame and shell have both been revised for improved stability.
