MacPi Mini v2 RPi4 Remix
thingiverse
This is my MacPi Mini v2 remix, marking my first published project and hopefully it will bring the same satisfaction for you as it has for me. • The fan was swapped out for a 60x60x10mm model, chosen only because I happened to have one on hand. • The top case was modified with an Apple logo inset and altered to accommodate the 60mm fan. • The bottom plate was also modified to fit the 60mm fan. • The grill was customized to work with the Raspberry Pi4 and now features: - Ethernet extension: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013269SZ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - USB 3.0 extension: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VTV9Y3T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Note: I had to enlarge the grill holes by 1mm to allow for the extensions, and a small dab of hot glue at the rear keeps them securely in place. Printer Details: Brand: Creality Model: Ender 5 Rafts: None used Supports: Not necessary if you flip the top 180 degrees Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Filament: PLA, though I prefer PETG P.S. Next, I plan to attach a 2.5-inch hard drive and will utilize the controller from this USB 3.0 Hard Drive Caddy (pics will be provided): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NF6JQQ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Eventually, I'll configure it with Ubuntu 18.04 and a MacOS theme.
