I'm not entirely certain what degree of incline my speakers are mounted on, but I'm fairly confident it's a calculated angle designed to direct sound waves straight into my ear canal from their perch above my computer screens. They're safely fastened in place with adhesive strips that stick to the shelf from underneath, cleverly concealing the mounting tabs.
