Macintosh Apple mini dock KEYBOARD

Hi there, Here's the keyboard to go along with my Macintosh Apple mini dock homage. I've just finished designing the keyboard. Today, I received more PLA in the mail, so it's printing right now as we speak. My Bluetooth keyboard arrived from Ebay and works perfectly, all for under $20 AUD. The one I used is available here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301332904406. The Apple II design is almost ready to print too. To support the making of these for fellow Apple gadget enthusiasts like you, I'll be accepting donations through PayPal. Any contribution, even just a dollar, would be greatly appreciated if you download it and continue to update it. If you buy another keyboard, I'll make a matching one - just send your donation to hugoarchicad@gmail.com. This new design has the Apple logo and features a disk drive cutout that works without supports when printed sideways. Currently, I'm printing one in white, which will take around 11 hours on 'fast' mode. You can check out the article here: http://www.wired.com/2015/01/slick-macintosh-design-inspired-first-mac-time/. I thought it would be cool to modify this design to fit an iPad mini. I'll visit the Apple store in Brisbane CBD again to capture photos of our finished work. As an architect, I used ArchiCAD for my project. First, I downloaded the original Macintosh model as a SketchUp file and imported it into ArchiCAD. Then, I did the same with the iPad mini design. From the article, I downloaded images and adapted them to fit while maintaining the original proportions where possible. Next, I made some adjustments to get everything to fit on my 3D Touch printer bed. Finally, I rendered it using Artlantis really quickly - you can check out my work here: www.hugoriveros.com. Cheers, Hugo
