MachTach Tachometer Enclosure

This design is a blueprint for a protective casing for the Half Size MachTach device tachometer located at machtach.com. The enclosure consists of two halves, a top and a bottom section that fit together with a slight ridge to secure them in place. Access to the sensor and power connectors can be gained from the side or back panel. Openings are present on top for the display screen and rotary encoder components. A recess within the top half of the enclosure accommodates the plastic lens material installed from inside. The entire assembly is held together by four #4 x 1" sheet metal screws that attach the MachTach module to the enclosure. Update January 29, 2017: A new version has been released with enhanced standoff support. Round pads are included to keep the corners secure during printing; they can be easily removed once the task is complete.
