Machinist mirror

Machinist mirror

I first created this design for a 62 mm mirror that I acquired from a friend who discovered it at a local surplus store. To protect and secure the mirror, I added a lip to its edge and attached four 8 mm magnets to the back, allowing me to easily mount it on a mill or drill press when working with round stock and an indicator. My lady friend then pointed out that mirrors have other practical uses beyond their intended purpose - who would have thought? You can customize this design as desired, but I highly recommend printing it in TPU due to its exceptional impact resistance and durability, along with improved grip. Simply place the mirror on a table or scale to secure it, and consider using adhesive to hold the magnets in place.
