The Machine Ring is a unique ring design which has influences from machines and gears. It has a basic circular shape, yet has three rectangular prisms on the outside of the ring, and a small slit in the circular ring shape. It has about a 0.75 inch diameter, and is a thin, yet stylish ring. It is a lightweight ring for comfort, and unlike other rings it does not go completely around your finger. It was created by making a circle and extruding it on AutoCad Inventor. Then, three rectangles were made on the exterior of the ring and extruded, and a rectangular shaped hole was made on the side where no rectangular prism is. The result is a unique, lightweight, comfortable, and yet stylish ring, with subtle hints and ideas of machinery. The rectangular prisms on the outside of the ring resemble various parts of a machine, and the incomplete arc design of the ring base also adds to this theme. The ring was made by extruding various simple shapes to create the unique ring.
