The Machine Gun Bunker of Calarreona sits on the outskirts of Águilas in Murcia, Spain. Its creation and construction are a direct result of the tumultuous Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), likely built in 1937 or 1938 as part of the Republic Coast Defense Plan. This fortified structure is primarily made from concrete, with its original lateral entrance still intact. Inside, the bunker provides space for two heavy machine guns to be placed strategically. Additionally, it features two compact storage areas for supplies and ammunition. The model was crafted using 1903 images captured by a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone. These images were meticulously aligned before being used to generate and texture the 3D model in Reality Capture software.
