sketchfab
The Machine Gun Bunker of Matalentisco II sits firmly in Águilas (Murcia, Spain), its design and construction an integral part of the Spanish Civil War's tumultuous years (1936-1939). Built possibly in 1937 or 1938, it was a crucial element of the Republic Coast Defense Plan. The bunker is constructed solidly from concrete, conserving its original lateral entrance intact. Inside, this robust structure allows for the placement of one heavy machine gun. It also features a compact space for storing essential supplies and ammunition. This detailed model was painstakingly created from 1197 images captured by a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone. The images were meticulously aligned, and the model was carefully generated and textured in Reality Capture.
