I designed a simple feet system for my 3D printer. I chose a 40x40mm screw spacing and 50mm square size to provide stability. The screw holes are counter-bored, allowing the socket head cap to fully engage with the foot. This design allows me to add vibration-absorbing foam under the foot using double-sided adhesive dots. To prevent damage, I poked some holes through the foam so that screws can be loosened if needed. The feet use M5 screws and are treated with acetone to increase their strength. The result is a significant reduction in vibration noise transmitted to the floor, even when the printer is located on the second story of my house. I used Du-Bro 514 Protective Foam-Rubber for this project, which can be found on Amazon.
