Mach3/Solidcam Post Processor for 4axis simultaneous operation
grabcad
This post isn't about a 3D model. Its about solidcam postprocessor for Mach3.Generic Fanuc based, eliminated all unnecessary (to my thinking) parameters and cleaned up.Read the first comment block of GPP file before you do anything. ======================set POS to MACHINE = YES======================(already set in my VMID)and in [motion control] inside solidcam job menu, always choose [polar], because for some reason that I couldn't figure out, cutting direction is reversed in cartesian mode.- Procedure works with #100 var as rotary-axis turns per job- simultaneous 4x works- simple rotary indexed mill/drill work- 4axis rotary operation worksTry this with supplied VMID and geometry files, they should be located all under user/public/public documents/solidcam/solidcam20xxIf you don't know what this is for, just don't try to touch it. Questions like where to extract won't get any response.ps. I put a small macro to set DRO(3) to its nearest equivalent number below 360 degree, @start_of_job & @end_of_job call it everytime. You can simply disable it by editing gppfile or not putting m801s if you don't like it. Mach3 will just skip the line if there is no such macro file.
