MacGyvrBot Babies

Summary What's your idea of a fully grown 3D printer? This made a fantastic avatar for me on Thingiverse when I first started 3D printing with "MacGyvrBot" back in 2013. Instructions Print two sets of baby bot parts using two different colors of ABS plastic. Coat the parts with solvent to make them strong, then sand off flanges and rough spots. Repeat the coating and sanding process until you get a smooth finish. Make sure all the parts fit together, then assemble two-colored baby bots and bond the parts using solvent. Sand again to create smooth joints and apply a glossy coat of solvent for a final finish. Drill tiny holes and use pieces of extruded filament as connectors from the spool to the extruder. Warning: Be cautious when working with solvents! Use safety gear, including eye protection, and work in well-ventilated areas. The solvent dissolves many materials and can stain surfaces. Use latex gloves instead of vinyl ones, and protect your work surface with aluminum foil. If you're not careful, the solvent can also delaminate parts, so use it with care!
