Macbook stand w/Pi

thingiverse

I scoured several other laptop stands on Thingiverse, but none came close to meeting my expectations. So I designed this one from scratch using Tinkercad. It prints at approximately 20mm thick, which provides just enough stability to hold a MacBook Pro - one of the newer models that doesn't have a battery prone to bursting into flames. I printed it with 20% infill and 0.2mm layers, and this configuration seems to work well. Feel free to remix this design as much as you like. No supports are needed at all. Please excuse the subpar print quality shown - I had already distributed the better sets, and this was the most recent one available. Unfortunately, I ran out of filament while working, so they're printed at half thickness. At least they convey the idea effectively. I experimented with 18% infill and 0.4mm layers, but with a 0.4mm nozzle, the strength wasn't quite up to par.
