Macbook Stand
thingiverse
This is a stand for MacBooks, designed to perfectly fit both the 13 inch MacBook models and the 15 inch models. The total height is 95mm tall - just like the basic height of a monitor frame. This model was created so that my MacBook's screen matches up with my second monitor, which I use as an extension. To assemble this stand, follow these steps: 1) First, print all three files, including the left and right side pieces that will slide together using superglue to form a triangle. 2) Next, print the supports file, which includes two square rectangular prisms that need to be glued on either side of the smallest part - not the long sides. 3) Also in the Supports file are fork-like parts and prisms with slants on one end. These two parts connect together to form an elongated trapezoid. 4) Make two of these elongated trapezoids by gluing them together, then attach them to the slanted side of the small piece that has square rectangular prisms glued on earlier. This should resemble two acute triangles joined at the hypotenuse and adjacent sides, with open poolside sides. 5) Attach the straight side of this part to both the left and right sides using the guide on those parts - making sure to glue the slanted sides to the left and right sides as well. 6) To finish the stand, you can optionally stick rubber buttons on the bottom to prevent sliding and scratching of surfaces.
