I drew inspiration from the design found on thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:220065 and set out to create a stand for my older MacBook Pro, specifically the 15-inch model which measures about 25mm in thickness. While my design may not be as refined as Walter's, it boasts increased solidity and stability.
