MacBook Pro Stand
thingiverse
I'm designing my first 3D print project - a custom stand for my MacBook Pro 2012. Everything is precision-crafted with press-fitted pieces that fit together seamlessly. To add some personality to the design, I'll glue on an apple logo that will give it a unique touch. For alignment, I'll use small dots strategically placed around the surface of the logo. Once the glue has dried completely, I'll carefully remove the support studs at the base of the apple using a sharp knife. I've optimized my print settings to achieve maximum strength and durability. My stands are printed with a layer height of 0.1mm and an infill percentage of 80%. This ensures that they can withstand regular use without showing any signs of wear or tear. However, I do recommend using a file or sandpaper to smooth out the surface if the support material is too dense and rough to the touch.
