MacBook Pro Retina stand
thingiverse
I'm really into those two designs now: Thingiverse's number 408249 and Thingiverse's number 660511. Unfortunately, I had to create my own version because of that. One thing that gets on my nerves is that they were made to keep the monitor in an upright position, whereas I like mine at a slight angle, roughly five or six degrees beyond straight up. One more thing that bothers me about Thingiverse's number 660511 is that it has non-manifold geometry which clashes with Simplify3D. Instructions I made my print on a DaVinci 1.0 using Simplify3D software, starting with 10% infill, then adding three solid base layers, and finishing off with two solid perimeter shells.
