I recently upgraded from a reliable 2012 Macbook Pro 13" to a sleek 2019 model, and rather than buying two separate stands, I opted to reimagine this clever design as a double stand that accommodates both laptops. The older machine is 10mm thicker than its newer counterpart, resulting in one slot being 30mm wide and the other 20mm. This slight difference allows for an additional 5mm of space per slot, perfect for securing felt with glue, a feature I appreciate from the original designer.
