To address overheating issues, I created a custom cooling device for my MacBook. This flat accessory accommodates various fan sizes and is nearly invisible when made from acrylic. After installing it, my laptop's temperature dropped to between 80°C and 90°C. The cooler can fit both the old and new Retina models. To maintain quiet and efficient operation, I use a 9-volt phone charger instead of a standard 12v power supply. Fans are connected in series for optimal cooling performance.
