This is a two-part stand designed specifically for 15" MacBook Pro models without the touch bar. I own a 2014 model, and based on its design, it should work seamlessly with other laptops having the same body. I drew inspiration from this design on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1324768), but I wasn't satisfied with how it sat on the laptop, as it pressed too hard against the charging cable, rendering some of the ports on the right unusable. Determined to create a better solution, I designed my own stand from scratch. This one ensures full port usability and features a clip that adds stability, allowing you to lift your Mac with ease while keeping everything in place. This project marked a significant milestone for me, as it was my first functional design to be printed on my own printer. After 11 versions and numerous print prototypes, I can confidently say that bringing an idea to life is an exhilarating experience.
