Macbook Magsafe 2 Adapter Cable Retainer Clip - Flexible Filament Ninjaflex
thingiverse
I was tired of constantly replacing my Magsafe to Magsafe 2 adapter, so I created a simple retaining clip/strap using a 3D printer. When my wife uses my charger, she switches between the Magsafe 2 adapter and the older Magsafe connector on her 2011 MacBook. The clip prevents the adapter from getting lost in the meantime. To make it work, you'll need flexible filament like Ninjaflex for printing and two nylon zipties to secure it to the power cord. I used pink zipties in the pictures just for contrast. I'd also like to give a shoutout to AKAMEDIASYSTEM for their original design that inspired this project.
